She’s not from these parts and she’s not from Washington. But when you get to know her, you’re going to be as impressed as I am.

If you guessed John McCain, you’d be right. If you knew he was talking about his vice-presidential pick, Sarah Palin, someone he met only once prior to making this headscratching statement, you get bonus points.

If you knew that even the Republican State Senate President in her home state said the following about her, you probably know more about her than John McCain does:
