Did you know that if you’re injured at work, you have up to 120 days after the injury to report it and still be covered?

That’s according to the PA Department of Labor and Industry website. Most people don’t know this, especially if they go by “safety” committee propaganda stating otherwise. Some employers would have you believe that if you don’t report your injury instantaneously, then they don’t have to cover you for it!

And that’s just one of the many distortions an employer might try to spread, which is why you need to come out to the membership meeting on April 27. That’s when Mike Dryden will be on hand to discuss the rights of injured workers and answer your questions.

Even with all the reading I’ve done over the years on Worker’s Comp law, I always come away from Mike’s appearances with a deeper understanding of my rights. I’m sure you will too. With the hostile attitude many employers seem to show toward injured workers, this could easily be a meeting that changes your life - so please be there!
